JADE

Considered a stone of prosperity, wealth and abundance since ancient China, the green variety of jade has been used as a charm to promote business and causes.  It is also a favourite of gardeners as it is thought to bring rain.  It is associated with the Heart Chakra, the Zodiac sign of Pisces, the Element of Water and the planets Neptune and Venus.
Green jade has been used as a stone of protection that changes negative energies into positive ones.  It is used to promote confidence, self love and self-esteem and is thought to be useful for protecting dreams, to assist with both lucid dreaming and remembering dreams. It is also known as the “stone of fidelity” and has been used to balance male and female energies, boosting passion between lovers as well as assisting with problematic relationships.  It is said to create a sense of calm, enjoyment and well being, as well as assist with grief and emotional healing.
In physical healing, green jade has been considered a revitalizing stone and used to speed the healing process.  It has also been used to treat issues with the heart, immune system, kidneys, blood, spleen, nervous system, thymus, cancer, colic, diabetes, edema, eyes, infertility, menstruation and PMS, MS, arthritis, joint pain, the lungs, and hair.  It is said to be particularly helpful in calming the nervous system.
Black Jade:  Gray and black shaded jade gemstones are said to have been created for the wise ones; these stones are used to encourage the proper use of power. 
Blue Jade:  Said to be a very peaceful stone, blue jade has been linked to the Third Eye Chakra.  It is used to reach a deeper stage of meditation, to relax and to relieve stress. 
Brown and yellow jade gemstones are said to be great for Aries and Leo.  Brown jade is often used to help one adjust to new surroundings, environments, etc.
Orange Jade:   Said to be a very good stone for promoting joy, inner peace, and happiness.  In healing, orange jade is used for the digestive organs. It is also said to provides security and boosts the wearer’s energy. 
Purple jade is used for promoting balanced growth in all areas of life, to attract good fortune, help with issues relating to the spleen.  In meditation, it is used to help focus on harmony, calming, grounding and beauty.  
Lilac and pink jade are said to be intended for Sagittarius, Libra, and Taurus. It is used to help achieve self control, to enable one to connect to their emotions.  It is said to be particularly helpful for people who have been disappointed or hurt by love.
Red Jade:  Believed in ancient times to stop bleeding, red jade is a good calming stone to prevent you from being overcome with anger.  It is said to disperse anger in the Base Chakra.  
White Jade is quite rare and ranges from white to cream and is known as “mutton fat jade” when translucent and “chicken bone jade” when opaque.  It is associated with the Heart and Crown Chakras, the Element of Earth, the Planet Venus, and the Zodiac Signs of Libra and Pisces (although additionally it is said to work well with Capricorn, Cancer, and Virgo)
This colour of jade is said to be particularly calming and grounding, while blocking distractions.  It is said to protect from negative energies and foster luck, harmony, peace, abundance and prosperity.  It is often worn to improve relationships and personal interactions, boost confidence and to heal from emotional trauma.
In physical healing, white jade is said to help the body heal itself by boosting the immune system.  As well, it is said to be very helpful with cancer, the urinary system, pain--especially arthritis and joint, edema, diabetes, the eyes, skin, the liver, menstrual and infertility issues.
